Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-10-21
Prego is built so that your pregnancy information stays with you. This policy explains what the Prego iPhone app and the prego.health website do with information. In short: the app stores your data only on your iPhone, and we never see, sell or share it.
The Prego app
Information you enter
Prego asks for things like your name, your partner's name, your last period or due date, your baby's name and sex, your height and weight, your diet, symptoms, journal entries and photos you choose to add. All of this is stored only on your device, inside the app's private storage and an app group shared with Prego's own Home Screen widgets. It is not uploaded to us or to any server. Prego does not require an account.
Photos
When you add a photo to your journal, you choose it with the iOS photo picker. Prego only receives the photos you select and saves a copy on your device.
Apple Intelligence
On supported devices running iOS 26 or later, Prego may use Apple's on-device foundation model to recognize symptoms in a journal entry so it can show a relevant tip. This happens entirely on your iPhone; the text is not sent to us.
Notifications and reminders
Weekly updates and reminders are scheduled locally on your device. You can turn them off in Prego's Settings or in iOS Settings.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. Apple tells the app whether you have an active subscription so it can unlock features.
Advertising measurement
Prego does not show ads and contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. If you installed Prego after seeing one of our ads, Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork framework may tell the ad network, in aggregate and without identifying you or your device, that an install or a subscription happened. No personal or health information is part of this, and Prego does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Deleting your data
You can erase everything at any time in Prego → Settings → Reset All Data. Deleting the app also deletes its data from your device. If you use iCloud or iTunes device backups, a copy may be included in those backups, which Apple manages under its own privacy policy.
This website
prego.health is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request information such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking individuals. The due date calculator, kick counter and contraction timer run in your browser; anything you enter stays in your browser's local storage and is never sent to us.
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you.
Children
Prego is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Because we do not hold your app data, you control it directly on your device. If you have questions about any information you have sent us by email, or you would like it deleted, contact us at support@prego.health.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
